A pivotal patent has been issued (Oct 4 2005), allowing a broad range of products from Internet-only cellphones, high capacity servers, and Internet router edge bandwidth control. An extension of earlier InterProphet work, this new patent marks a point where the industry can shift more around the Internet than before. It links with a current venture pushing Internet video and video iPod content.
